Slovak company established in 1992 operating from Poprad Tatry airport (TAT/LZTT) providing medical and special transport services.

Since its inception, Air Transport Europe has expanded its operations to seven bases throughout Slovakia and two locations in neighboring Czech Republic.

It is also an authorized service and upgrade center for Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-17 and AgustaWestland A109 aircraft.

As of 2025, Air Transport Europe has completed more than 33,691 HEMS missions, specializing in missions focused in remote locations.

Air Transport Europe Orders H135 and H140 Helicopters

Mar 11, 2026 · Air Transport Europe (ATE), a HEMS operator in Slovakia, ordered one Airbus H135 and one Airbus H140 helicopter during VERTICON 2026 to support its air medical operations. The entry into service of the H140 is planned for 2028.
