Part of Coulson Group of Companies which origins trace back to logging operations in British Columbia during the 1930s. Established 1960 with forestry, expanded into aviation in 1985, then lumber manufacturing in 1989.
In 1990 founded Coulson Aviation USA for firefighting contracts with the US Forest service
Formed Coulson-Unical in partnership with Unical
