

Scandinavian AirAmbulance (SAA) primarily operates air ambulances in Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. SAA manages fixed-wing aircraft, while Scandinavian MediCopter operates helicopters.
SAA Sweden began its operations in 2001. In 2008, it merged with Lufttransport and SOS Helikoptern Gotland, forming Scandinavian MediCopter.
In June 2014, SAA joined the Avincis Group, which was later acquired by Babcock and rebranded as Babcock Scandinavian Air Ambulance (BSAA).
In March 2023, the company became Avincis Aviation Sweden AB, part of the new AVINCIS Group.
