Formed in North Africa with Blenheims for strategic reconnaisance by Jun 1942.
Reformed in May 1957 at RAF Hemswell as a mixed unit with Varsity and Whirlwind. After supporting the first British nuclear Grapple tests in Australia, disbanded at Hemswell in Nov 1957.
