Sistema Integrado de Comando e Controlo Aéreo Português

SICCAP is an integrated Air Defence system which provides the Recognised Air Picture for Portugal. This is produced and interpretted at the Centre for Reporting and Control (CRC) and is fed from a number of sources around the nation and islands in its extensive maritime area of responsibility.

Amongst others, the CRC at Monsanto is fed from:

1. Serra de Monchique
2. Monte do Pilar
3. Serra de Montejunto
4. Pico do Areeiro.
