The Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is Canada's government to government contracting agency mandated to help Canadian exporters gain access to foreign government procurement markets with goods from Canada.
Established in 1946 to transition Canada's industry to a peacetime economy, the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is a federal Crown corporation that facilitates government-to-government (G2G) contracting. It serves as a prime contractor, signing export deals with foreign governments while sub-contracting with Canadian suppliers, thereby providing a Government of Canada guarantee that the contract will be fulfilled as agreed. Historically, the CCC has been instrumental in managing Canada's role in the 1956 Defence Production Sharing Agreement (DPSA) with the U.S. and was even responsible for the contracting of the iconic Canadarm for NASA. Today, the corporation focus on sectors like aerospace, clean technology, and infrastructure, having facilitated over $24.7 billion in commercial contracts in the decade leading up to 2023.
