Northrop Grumman Common Infrared Countermeasures (CIRCM) system is a fifth-generation aircraft survivability system designed to detect and defeat incoming infrared-guided missile threats, improving survivability in high-risk environments.

As of 2026, nearly 700 Northrop Grumman CIRCM systems have been installed on rotary wing aircraft worldwide, making it the most widely used system of its kind. CIRCM is achieving more than 70,000 operational flight hours on CH-47 AH-64 Apache and UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
