Section Aérienne de Gendarmerie d'Ajaccio

The Détachement Aérien de Gendarmerie (DAG) in Ajaccio, Corse, was officially elevated to a full Section Aérienne de Gendarmerie (SAG) on May 6, 2003.The unit originally stood up in 1962 as a detachment subordinated to the Section Aérienne de Gendarmerie of Hyères. Following its upgrade in 2003, the base at Campo dell'Oro subsequently celebrated the unit's 60th anniversary of aerial operations (dating back to its detachment origins) and inaugurated upgraded facilities in May 2023

In 2018 to 2022 they temporary based at BAN Aspretto, because the new built facility at Campo del Oro.
