The Heeresfliegerregiment 35 is based in Mendig (Niedermendig) Military Airfield, Germany flying VFW-Fokker CH-53G Sea Stallion and MBB Bo-105M helicopters. It was disbanded in March 2004 after transferring is assets to HFR15/HFR25 and KHR26/KHR36.
