1991, I was a SSGT during the first Gulf War. Two UH-1Ns escorted by two Cobras off the USS Okinawa (LPH-3) captured the last stronghold of Iraqi soldiers on the Island of Fallaka off the coast from Kuwait City. I had my Olympus 35mm with me and took a roll of film. We had LT Col Jimbob Waites Major Wagner, Sgt REED and SSGT Turner(me)Two Army PSY OPS Guys along with a Kuwaiti interpreter who spoke through the huge speaker hanging of our Huey. Hard to believe it was 23 years ago. Please contact us
