Established late 1970s as Johanniter Luftrettung Hannover. nowadays provides air ambulance services from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern via the Baltic Sea islands to surrounding federal states. Secondary transports are carried out throughout Germany and, if required, also to Denmark, Holland, Poland and the Czech Republic.
