The 550th Helicopter Squadron was activated in June 2023 at Malmstrom AFB, Montana and is responsible for Air Force Global Strike Command’s training and conversion to the MH-139 Gray Wolf helicopter
03-Sep-23 - Montana’s Malmstrom Air Force Base crews and engineers completed a 32-day curriculum for the MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopter at the Leonardo Helicopters Training Academy in Philadelphia. The squadron is scheduled to transition from the Bell UH-1N by the end of 2024 #Malmstrom
