Washington County EMS

Created in 1979, Washington County Emergency Medical Service covers a geographical area of approximately 700 sq. miles including h two major bodies of water, the Brazos River bordering the eastern boundary of the county and Lake Somerville. These waterways brings nearly a 1 million visitors a year to the area.

The department handles over 7,000 calls a year and over 9,000 request for services (RFS) per year.
