A³ by Airbus (“A-cubed”) is the advanced projects and partnerships outpost of Airbus in Silicon Valley with the mission to define the future of flight.

A number of innovative Urban Air Mobility projects currently being researched included Skyways, Vahana and CityAirbus autonomous flying vehicle concepts

As of October 2019, Vahana Alpha One, one of the two electric vertical take-off and landing technology demonstrators, completed its 114th test flight in Pendleton, Oregon, proving the viability of the concept of self-piloted air taxis.
