The Félix Éboué class is the result of the Patrouilleur d’Outre-Mer (POM) programme, to replace the ageing P400 patrol ships operating in the French Overseas Territories.
Fitted with a flight deck, the ships extend their radius of operation using the SMDM (Systèmes de Mini Drones aériens embarqués pour la Marine) Aliaca fixed-wing maritime UAS.
