This bird was just out of Phase. All test flights were completed. Ip was in pilot station and MTP was in the gunner. They were doing touch and go's into clearings. Tail shook when coming in, pilot increased power and pulled out. Bucs shear pin either broke or fell out and aircraft went into full right turn. Pilots reduced power and auto rotated into dense woods. Both pilots were injured and took several hours to locate wreckage. 2-101 AVN  | |||
