while on final duding an Air Mobile (Exercise BRAVE LION) operation in Norway, the a/c struck a wire and crashed. The initial wire contact was in the rotor mast area causing an immediate loss of control. The WSPS had not engaged the war due the shallow closing angle. Both crew members survived the crash
and airframe suffered Cat “B” damage.
