    History of this Location

Originally built in the 1400s, this medieval masterpiece was destroyed by bombing during WWII on the night of 14 Nov 1940.

A new Coventry Cathedral rose after the war and during 27 Apr 1962, it was topped off with a lattice spire by a 66 Squadron Belvedere HC.1 during Operation Rich Man. It is a magnificent building.
