The Kvitebjørn gas and condensate field was discovered in 1994 on the Tampen spur.
The 34/11-1 platform was established in 190m of water. The main production comes from the Middle Jurassic Brent Group sandstone, from c 4000m depth. The gas travels by pipeline to the Kollsnes terminal, condensate is sent via the Troll Oil Pipeline II and on to the Mongstad terminal.
