The Hutton Field was discovered in 1975 and the platform was installed in 1981, in c 145m of water. Production began in Apr 1983, exporting oil and natural gas liquid via Cormorant A.
Operations ceased on 1 Jan 2003 and decommissioning began in 2006 and was completed around 2010, leaving c 50m of platform footings and drill cuttings standing proud of the sea floor.
