Seven former Canadian Air Force Chinooks were delivered in 1996 (serial D661 to D667). Further six factory fresh CH-47D directly from Boeing (serials D101 to D106) arrived in 1998
Reinforced by 6 new CH-47F variant in 2012. Six of the CH-47D will be upgraded to F standard between 2020 and 2021
On December 22, 2021, D-667 ("Rodney") completed the last flight of a CH-47D for the Royal Netherlands Air Force
