In January 2023 Argentina ordered through Canadian CCC funding six Bell 407GXi as its new Mountain Rescue helicopter against the Airbus H125 and to be operated by both the Army and Air Force (3 each) as complement and eventually replacement of the SA315B Lama.

First two helicopters AE-340 and AE-341 delivered via ferry flight in March 2025.
