Eight Royal Danish Navy Lynxs were transferred to the air force on January 1, 2011. Were replaced by MH-60R Seahawks from 2016.
Lynx phased out by Danish Air Force on December 15, 2017
On December 15, 2017 a farewell ceremony was held at Karup-Viborg with a last flight made by three Lynx (S-191, S-256, S-134) and one MH-60R Seahawk (N-973)
