In August 2024, the Iraqi Army Aviation Command celebrated the delivery of seven Bell 505 training helicopters assigned to the 300 Squadron.

A further batch of eight helicopters was delivered in November 2025, expanding the fleet and strengthening Iraq’s pilot training capabilities.
