In July 2019 the NH90 Multi-Role Frigate Helicopter (MRFH) Sea Tiger was selected to replace the Westland Sea Lynx in German Navy service.
As of November 2024, the Sea Tiger prototype (98+55) has completed its flight test campaign with more than 140 flight hours over the past 11 months. The first delivery is scheduled for 2025.
First NH90 delivered to Germany Navy in December 2025.
