First 3 AS365N delivered between 1995 and 1996 for use in SAR duties. They are too big for the coast guard ships decks so they operate from land.
In 2003 Argentine Gov approves transfer of the single Federal Police (PFA) AS365N2 to the coast guard (PNA)
On January 18, 2017 Argentinian Gov approved upgrade of 3 of them to the AS365N3+ type starting with PA-43 which returned to service on December 2020. In the meantime Airbus provided a replacement by leasing which received serial PA-44.
On November 2021 took place reception of the PA-40 in the new configuration.
PA-41, scheduled to return from Helibras by December 2021
