Russian Helicopters holding for the first time presented its new project BAS-200 at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 - a helicopter-type unmanned aerial vehicle.

This aircraft will become the first unmanned participant in the air show's flight program in history.

The maximum take-off weight of the vehicle is 200 kg. It can reach speeds of up to 160 km / h and carry a payload of up to 50 kg. BAS-200 is capable of performing flights for up to 4 hours at altitudes up to 3900 m.

The ground control complex is also presented at the air show, providing communication with the drone at a distance of up to 100 km. The length of the apparatus is 3.9 m, the height is 1.2 m.

BAS-200 can be used to perform a wide range of aviation operations: terrain monitoring, cargo delivery, search and rescue and agricultural operations.

The development of the BAS-200 project and the conduct of flight tests of the drone is carried out by the Mil and Kamov National Helicopter Construction Center of the Russian Helicopters holding.
