Helis, March 12, 2018 - Airlift Northwest expanded its services and capabilities on the Olympic Peninsula and surrounding communities in the State of Washington last December.
An Airlift Northwest’s Agusta A109E helicopter, callsign Airlift 2, previously based at Boeing Field in Seattle, has been repositioned to its new home in Bremerton National Airport.
The helicopter carries blood and plasma products which can save time and lives while patients are en route to the hospital.
Airlift Northwest’s pilots and mechanics are provided by Air Methods (helicopters) and Aero Air LLC (fixed wing aicraft) and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS).
As the Pacific Northwest’s premier air ambulance service they fly 3,800 patients a year and over 100,000 since founding 35 years ago.
