Helis, December 22, 2019 - U.S. Air Force 33rd Rescue Squadron (33d RQS) HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter took part of an emergency response drill on Osan Air Base, South Korea, December 19.
The local 51st Medical Group, part of U.S. Air Force Medical Service, hosted the advanced casualty care and aeromedical evacuation training to prepare first responders with the hands-on knowledge for the life-saving process of loading, transporting and communicating while providing expedited patient movement with the helicopter.
The 33rd RQS is based at Kadena AFB in Japan with the mission of search, rescue and recovery, night or day, over land or water in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility.
