PHI, March 03, 2022 - PHI Air Medical, an industry leader in safety and air-medical transportation, is pushing the envelope once again in moving communities to health with the release of FlyPHI, a mobile and web-based application that supports PHI Air Medical partners and patients by providing an online transport request and tracker interface.
The app is a critical time-saver for first responders and offers another accessible way to swiftly deploy a PHI aircraft to the scene of an accident or to the hospital for safe, high-quality clinical transportation.
An industry first, the app also produces multiple tracking capabilities, including requesting and receiving facilities real-time viewing and a link that allows family members to track the patient from the scene to the hospital in real time.

Accurate and efficient, the app creates a simplified process for dispatch and a cohesive tool for improved communication and record keeping. When first responders submit a request, the user will see the steps taken by the PHI Air Medical communication center to evaluate the request and then assign an aircraft to the request.
Once the helicopter is on its way, the user will be able to track the aircraft in real-time with a map feature. The receiving facility will also have the capability to track the aircraft, providing complete transparency throughout the transport process.
