Heli-Union, January 29, 2020 - Heli-Union announces new aircraft lease agreement with Milestone Aviation Group Limited for one Leonardo AW139, two Airbus H225s and a lease extension of a further AW139.
Heli-Union has been operating AW139 for almost 10 years in support of its global offshore helicopter transport operations.
Heli-Union currently employs the AW139 helicopters to provide crew change and medical evacuation (Medevac) services for oil and gas companies in Angola, Gabon and Myanmar.
Heli-Union is also capable to offer limited Search and Rescue services using its AW139, as previously demonstrated during its last operations with Woodside Myanmar in 2016.
The two H225s will be mobilised for a contract to support a deep offshore exploration campaign of an international energy company in Namibia.
