Rostec, September 04, 2015 - The world's leading experts in the defense industry will gather September 9-12 in Nizhny Tagil for Russia Arms Expo-2015, the Tenth Anniversary International Exhibition of Arms, Military Equipment, and Ammunition.
Holdings of Rostec Corporation will present their developments for the military-industrial complex.
During the exhibition, Rosoboronexport will promote Russian military equipment for land forces on the world arms market. Company representatives will discuss the competitiveness of domestic high-tech equipment for this market segment during the plenary discussion "Global competition and military-technical cooperation," which will be held as part of the forum’s business program.
For the first time this year, experts will discuss branding in the production of military equipment during the special roundtable "Weapons branding: A fashion statement or calculated policy?” which will be moderated by Vasily Brovko, head of Rostec’s Department of Communication and Information.
High Precision Systems will demonstrate its Kornet-EM anti-missile system, which can fire on modern and future tanks equipped with dynamic armor, lightly armored vehicles, fortifications, and surface-based and airborne targets at ranges of up to 10,000 meters. In addition, visitors to the holding company’s exhibit will see the Bakhcha combat module with the regular or upgraded BMP-3 weapons system, which can be installed on a variety of mobile or stationary objects, as well as its various modifications and other equipment models.
The exhibit of VSMPO-AVISMA, the largest Russian producer of titanium, will feature samples of forgings and various classes of armored vests, helmets, shields, and other products. Visitors to the VSMPO-AVISMA exhibit will be in for a surprise: it is decorated with the sculpture Titanium Swan, created using flat and round steel pieces. The company has noted that the best masters of the Urals worked on this artistic installation.
During RAE-2015, United Instrument Manufacturing Company (UIMC) will present its new command-and-staff vehicles and KV-UKV communications systems.
The Ural military vehicle with an integrated model manufactured by Concern Kalashnikov will take part in a dynamic display of military technology.
Tehmash and Shvabe Holding will also present their developments at Russia Arms Expo. Representatives from Technodinamika will take part in the forum’s business program.
Russia Arms Expo is one of the largest international exhibitions of weapons produced by Russian and foreign companies. The event will bring together more than 400 exhibitors, as well as representatives from the defense ministries of more than 50 countries (Defense Ministers and Chiefs of Staff). Traditionally, more than 20,000 visitors come to the exhibition.
