Safran, February 28, 2024 - Safran Helicopter Engines has signed a support-by-the-hour contract renewal with ADAC Heliservice for the engines powering ADAC Luftrettung and ANWB Medical Air Assistance H145 helicopter fleets.
This SBH® contract covers in-service support and MRO (maintenance, repair and overhaul) for around 50 Arriel 2E engines.
ADAC Heliservice, a subsidiary of the non-profit ADAC Luftrettung, is a leading German helicopter MRO company..
The contract will be managed by Safran Helicopter Engines Germany in Hamburg, which monitors and supports 300 helicopter operators in Germany, Northern Europe, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, for a total fleet of 2,000 engines.
