Able Continues Support to US Navy TH-57 Fleet

Able Aerospace in collaboration with Vertex Aerospace will continue its almost decade-long support of the US Navy TH-57 trainer helicopters fleet.

The TH-57 Sea Ranger, first acquired in 1968, is being replaced by 130 TH-73A Thrasher with deliveries scheduled to be completed by 2024

Able, March 13, 2022 - MESA, ARIZONA - Able Aerospace Services Inc, a subsidiary of Textron Aviation Inc., a Textron Inc. company, announced during the HAI Heli-Expo in Dallas, Texas, the continuation of its almost decade-long fulfillment platform support of the United States Navy’s TH-57 fleet of training helicopters through a collaboration with Vertex Aerospace.

Able’s excellence in engineering, its focus on the customer and ability to produce cost effective repairs ensures that Vertex Aerospace can continue to provide outstanding support for the Navy’s fleet.

The TH-57 platform provides advanced instrument flight rules (IFR) training to several hundred aviation students every year at the Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Milton, Florida.

Able continues to utilize its robust expanded repair and dynamic overhaul capabilities to provide best-in-class support for this high-volume, high-flight time training platform.
