Subaru, June 30, 2022 - Tokyo – Subaru Corporation delivered the New Utility Helicopter (UH-2) for Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) at its Aerospace Company Utsunomiya Plant, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
Subaru has developed the New Utility Helicopter (UH-2) leveraging the SUBARU BELL 412EPX which is the latest civilian helicopter as the same platform and remodeled for Japan Ministry of Defense specification.
The flight test of the New Utility Helicopter was started from May 2022, it passed a series of company flight test, and finally it got Japan Ministry of Defense’s approval for delivery.
Subaru will promote the production of the Japanese-made UH-2 helicopters and push forward with the production and sales of the SUBARU BELL 412EPX helicopters
