    French contribution to degrade ISIL operating around Iraq and Syria. On September 2014 deployed Task Force 473 in eastern Mediterranean, Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean and has integrated components from other European nations into its mission.
    On November 13, 2015 ISIL retaliated with attacks in Paris.

    As of Mach 2016, airstrikes with Rafale and Mirage 2000D jets continue from bases in Jordan and the UAE
