Babcock International

Babcock International Group plc is a multinational corporation headquartered in the United Kingdom. Although the company has civil contracts, its main business includes UK Ministry of Defence and Network Rail.

Since 2014 is involved in the helicopter business after the acquisition of the Avincis Group.

Mission Critical Services (MCS), which sits within Babcock's Aviation sector, is one of the world's leading providers of aerial services for mission-critical operations. Babcock's fleet of Emergency Service aircraft flies around 90,000 missions each year, providing air ambulance, search and rescue, firefighting, police and civil protection services. Babcock also operates helicopters serving the oil and gas sector.
