Established 1988, Luxembourg Air Rescue (LAR) is a non-profit organization operating both air ambulances and rescue helicopters carrying out more than 3000 missions a year.
As of 2023 employs around 190 staff and operates 5 MD902 helicopters and its first Airbus H145D3 which will upgrade the fleet in the coming years. They also have a Challenger 605 and three Learjet 45 fixed-wing aircraft under the brand European Air Ambulance (EAA)
