UTair is the 4th largest provider of helicopter services in the world and the leading helicopter operator in Russia.

As of 2011 UTair helicopter fleet surpass 230 aircraft with a vast majority of Mi-8/Mi-17 but also including two AS350 B3s, one AS355N and four BO105s in Russia, along with an AS350 B3 operated by its subsidiary in India.


Mi-171A2 Production Aircraft First Flight, 18-May-18 : First serial production Mi-171A2 performed maiden flight at the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant. Will be delivered to UTair for trials work in polar regions
