Established 1973

Formed by renaming the Alouette Squadron in Dec 1973.

The RSAF's first and oldest operational squadron. The squadron initially operated the French Alouette helicopters. In 1977 the squadron upgraded to American Bell UH1H Huey transport helicopter.
