The Australian Customs and Border Protection Service was a federal government agency that operated between 2009 and 2015. It was succeeded by the Australian Border Force, which assumed responsibility for customs and immigration enforcement. During its operations, the agency also made use of private helicopters under contract to support border surveillance and enforcement activities.
