Christoph 67 (ADAC)

Christoph 67 is the radio call sign of a rescue helicopter operated by the non-profit ADAC Luftrettung, which officially entered service on July 1, 2024, at the Itzehoe/Hungriger Wolf Airfield in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. As the 38th station in the ADAC network, it primarily serves the southwestern region of the state, providing rapid emergency medical care and inter-hospital intensive care transports using an Airbus H145 helicopter. The station is notable for being the first in Germany to be dispatched via a centralized statewide coordination system in Kiel, representing a pioneering model for regional air rescue. The crew, which consists of a pilot, a TC HEMS (emergency paramedic), and a flight physician from the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), remains ready for missions from sunrise (no earlier than 7:00 a.m.) until sunset.
