History Tracking

The Nebraska State Patrol started using fixed-wing airplanes in 1946. In 1970 incorported its first helicopter a brand new Bell 206B Jet Ranger which was replaced in 1979 by a 206B-3.

As of 2021, the Aviation Support Division (ASD) operates a Bell 505, a Bell 407 plus 3 Cessna T206H Turbo Stationair and a Piper Super Cub fixed-wing aircraft
