The School of Aeronautical Engineering (SAE) moved from Middle Wallop to Arborfield around 1995.
SEAE Arborfield became part of the
Defence College of Aeronautical Engineering on 1 Apr 2004. The SEAE component of DCAE formally moved to
MoD Lyneham in Apr 2015, on the closure of Arborfield. The airframes began to follow, with
Phase 1 movements starting toward end of Aug 2015.
