Helimed 54 (HLE54) is the callsign for an AgustaWestland AW109SP helicopter, registration G-DRLA, operated by The Air Ambulance Service for the Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance. This air ambulance service is an independent charity that receives no government funding and relies on public donations to deliver critical pre-hospital care to seriously ill or injured patients across its service area. The Helimed 54 crew, consisting of a pilot, doctor, and critical care paramedic, provides advanced medical interventions at the scene of incidents and can rapidly transport patients to specialist hospitals
