Minegumo class (みねぐも型護衛艦)
1967
Designed to operated the QH-50 DASH anti submarine drone helicopter, this class was no longer built when the aircraft was removed from service so construction of the previous Yamagumo class resumed. The landing pad was removed and an ASROC launcher was fitted in place.
