    1983-octFate: transferedpurchased by MoD for RFA from Stena
    1983-nov-12RefitGovan rapid refit for RFA at Clyde Dock Engineering over 2 months to include additions to diving support facilities, accommodation, repair workshops, heavy duty cranes and equipment to allow alongside working with other ships, plus communications and storage space upgrades, until 29 Feb 1984.
    1984-mar-12CommissionedRe-commissioned as fully owned RFA vessel
    1991-aprDeploymentdeparted for South Atlantic for maintenance support. Arrived on station during May and departed for UK during Nov 1992.
    1993-mayDeploymentdeparted for South Atlantic for maintenance support. Arrived on station during Jun.
    1993-junDeploymentoperating in the S Atlantic and around the Falkland Islands for 11 month deployment
