    History of this Location

    Coastguard Prestwick Base Passes 1,500 Rescues, 04-Aug-20 : #rescues The HM Coastguard Search and Rescue (SAR) base at Prestwick near Glasgow in Scotland completed their 1,500th tasking since beginning lifesaving operations in 2016. Operated by Bristow, started with S-92 and was the first UK SAR base to change to the AW189 in 2017
