GTI OWF consists of 80 turbines in c 40m of water, spread over 42 sq km, commissioned in 2015, with a remote control centre in Emden.

Although situated in the German Exclusive Economic Zone, the airspace surrounding it is part of Amsterdam FIR and it is beneath Danger Area EHD02.
