All were EMS configured with dual litter capability, four attendant/cabin seats, suction system, LOX, shore power, plug-type sliding cabin doors, and sealed blood-dam type flooring. The five had an average of 8,400 airframe hours each at time of Retirement
I worked at Sikorsky WPB from August 1986 until March 2000 when the program was sent to the Czech Republic...IIRC the NJ ship was a 'B' model and either A/C 332 or 333 - I'm originally from NJ and felt proud to be making (or having a hand in making) this one for my former home state...this one was supposed to be the official state aircraft for the then governor...again (IIRC) completion (options) work began in early 1987...I surreptitiously used my employee stamp on the inside of the tail cone to the right of the 'hellhole'...CB in FL
